Yes! We have several membership options that can make your wellness journey more convenient and affordable. Head to our membership page for more!
The frequency depends on your personal goals. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions, while others prefer monthly floats. Consider what you're hoping to achieve with float therapy, and we're happy to recommend a schedule that's right for you.
During our business hours, you can call us at 308-633-5628 and we'd be more than happy to help schedule you!
You can also go to https://hydrozen.floathelm.com/booking to create your account and schedule there!
We have two private float rooms, one with a spacious float pod (clamshell-shaped with a hatch) another room with an open pod tub.
You are in complete control of your experience - you can open or close the hatch, control the lights, and choose whether to have music on or off during your session. Each float room has its own private shower equipped with shampoo and body wash. We provide everything you need for your float experience, and all guests are required to shower both before and after their float session.
Our float pods are designed for individual use only. If you'd like to experience floating with a friend or partner, we welcome you to book both Pod Room 1 and Pod Room 2 for simultaneous sessions. This allows you each to enjoy your own private float experience while still sharing the overall wellness journey together.
Our pods are 7'0" long inside (7'3" diagonally). This means most visitors can float comfortably at HydroZen. We do not have a weight limit, as long as you can get in and out of the float pod safely on your own you can float :)
Yes of course!
Floating is a wonderful experience for expecting mothers, however it never hurts to consult with your physician before floating to ensure you are a good candidate.
Anyone can float! As long as you can get in and out safely from the pod, anyone can float.
We accept floaters as young as 10 years old. However, any floater under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult, they can either wait in the room while they float or our designated waiting area.
Things to help prepare you or educate you about your float experience! Always call 308-633-5628 if you have other questions!
You are given one hour to float, but your appointment time is scheduled for time allowing you to shower before (required) and after. While you book for an hour -please give yourself at least 75 minutes.
Since float therapy is a completely private experience, you can wear a bathing suit if you prefer. However, remember that any clothing or material pressing against your skin can be a distraction during your float. For this reason, many people choose not to wear any clothing to fully immerse themselves in the sensory deprivation experience.
We provide all the necessary amenities for your float therapy session. In your private room, you will find a bench with essential items such as earplugs and towels for your body and face. We also provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The earplugs are particularly useful in preventing saltwater from entering your ears.
You are more than welcome to bring in your own amenities and products!
First bring an open mind to fully immerse yourself into the experience. A swim cap if you wish to not soak your hair in the salt or a hair brush would be nice if you have longer hair. We recommend wearing comfy, easy to take on-and-off clothes and shoes, as your room will get hot and humid and you will get wet!
Leave the makeup off, you'll look great either way and it's more of a hassle to worry about :)
Avoid shaving or waxing the day of your float. Don't consume any caffeine for 2-3 hours prior in order to get the most relaxing experience. Don't eat a large meal before you float as it sits heavy in the stomach while floating. No smoking immediately before you float.
*Please be aware that you cannot float for 2 weeks immediately following getting your hair colored, or getting a tattoo done. A week following a spray tan or while menstruating and if you have an open wound.
If you have color-treated your hair, you must wait AT LEAST two weeks to float, and your hair must run free of color in the shower and not stain towels. For semi or demi-permanent colors (especially bright colors like red, blue, green, purple, or pink), you cannot float. Unfortunately with the high chance for staining with these vibrant colors we just have to make the call. All natural colors of hair need to run completely free of color. Your hair must run clear when wet and not stain towels or fabric.
Our policy is you cannot float until the water runs clear and dye does not come off both in the shower and on the towel when you towel dry it. With semi and demi permanent hair colors, the color molecules sit on the surface of your hair, which means the top layers of color wash off when you wet your hair. This can be exacerbated by the salt content in the float pod leading to hair color leaching and pod contamination.
Hair dye can discolor the solution in the pods and stain the PVC, which can result in a costly experience for everyone. You will be held liable for any damages or maintenance required if this policy is not followed.
So, please be confident that your hair color is no longer running when wet. If your hair is not running clear in the shower, please call us to reschedule your appointment. We thank you. Our float pods thank you. And your beautiful hair color thanks you!
Yes! It is not uncommon and some people actually prefer to sleep during their float. The water is extremely buoyant so you stay afloat. If you tend to shift positions in your sleep, the worst that can happen is salt water in your eyes. We will provide a wash cloth and a spray bottle of fresh water to get the sting out if that happens.
During a float, the cleaning system is turned off, in an idle mode, so as not to disturb the person floating. Afterwards and in between floats, the water cycles through an efficient filtration system that consists of:
This system effectively filters, disinfects, and purifies the water. Another special aspect of float pod is the high salinity. At 25% Epsom salt, nothing can survive in the water that's harmful to humans. Most organisms (except for halophiles) die off in concentrations of 10-14%. Yay for Epsom salt!
A Float Technician also cleans, sanitizes, and restocks the outside of the pod and the float room nightly. A safe and sanitary float environment is one of our highest priorities. If a pod or room does not meet our expectations, we will not have floaters use it, for their health and safety.
